fenestraria plants look like this in stores

but i just found out they grow like this in the wild

and im real fucked up about it

These guys are so cool!!

First off they’re called more commonly “baby toes”. Which is probably the most unsettling/best name for a succulent.

They have evolved clear tops so light can better travel to the rest of the plant.

Weird and neat.

buy-skulls:

This is a real adult male vervet monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus) skull from South Africa!

These mostly herbivorous primates live in troops of between 10 and 70 individuals.
Interestingly enough, archaeological excavations in the ancient Roman-Egyptian port-town Berenike show they were kept as pets as early as the 1st Century CE and can be found in Mediterranean paintings dating back to 2000BCE!

This skull is available exclusively in Canada. We are asking $175, buy it now on www.SkullStore.ca or in-store Thursday-Sunday (12-6pm) at 1193 Weston Rd, Toronto. **SAVE 10% ON ALL WEB-ORDERS UNTIL APRIL 20TH! ENTER PROMO CODE “SPRING18” AT CHECKOUT!**

Malachite Stalactite

Size:

25.4 x 15.9 x 8.6 cm

Locality:

Shilu Mine, Yangchun Co., Yangjiang Prefecture, Guangdong Province, China

This was a one-time-only find from about 20 years ago and most (if not all of the specimens) went into the private collection of a Chinese fossil dealer, who was recently convinced that he should part with his minerals. Alas, there will be no more of these fine specimens: the quarry site is now completely flooded and it is used to train divers.
