Monkey Slug Caterpillars
Is it a monkey? Is it a slug? No! It’s a monkey slug caterpillar!
See video of these strange creatures here

A tarantula being consumed by the parasitic Cordyceps fungus. When the cordycep’s fungus attacks a hosts body it gradually replaces the host’s tissue, while it’s fruit body projects in complex shapes, as seen above. Some cordycep’s species are even able to influence the behaviour of their host, for example directing their host to climb and attach to a plant before it dies, ensuring optimum temperature and humidity for the growth of the fungus, and maximal spread for the fungal spores.

Mommy Ja.ck Ra.bbit
While digging through the back end area for missing toe bones, I kept seeing small fragments of bones that didn’t seem to come from the skeleton. After taking a closer look, I realized I was looking at a pile of fetal bones! Based on the scapulae there were at least three ki.ts. The fetal bones take up a 1″x1″ square for size reference!
Rest in peace momma and babes, you are gone but not forgotten.
